Pretzel-cracker Joy

So, this one time I went on a backpacking trip. We went to Walmart beforehand to buy some treats for our journey. We saw this box and it brought quite a great surprise. Lets just say they were eaten VERY fast. Today, Megan bought some more and they were just as GOOD.

Swine Flu

I have been quite ill the past week and yesterday I was tested for swine flu. A dream come true. I went into the doctor's office and put on a fancy mask, did not touch ANYTHING, and I noticed this lady backing away from me. She asked me if I had swine flu and after about 5 seconds yelled something at the person she was waiting for and DARTED out of there. I always knew I had an effect on people. One of the nurses told me not to get near her and breathe on her. People can really be too kind sometimes. Jen and I sure thought it was funny though.

Warning: Try not to be tested for swine flu because the test is quite painful- A longgg swab is put in your nose as far back as you can imagine, it's rubbed around for about 10 seconds, while burning like heck.

Either way, it was an experience and of course, I am ridiculously tough so I can handle the pain.

The great day of graduation

Just imagine the cougar growls in cougar town.

So precious.

The fam and the random sign given to me by some guy...good thing I really am! (click to see sign)

Just some hot boys and girls. Missing lots of others that came to the soirée, but weren't in the picture. A killer game of four square was played that evening in the parking lot. Did I forget to mention that my dad was Jolyn's dads basketball coach 25 years ago! sheesh. They were able to reunite this evening. What a touching moment.

Another precious picture. Oh those Nicholls' boys. That Shannon's pretty hot right now too.

Grandpa # 1 smoking a cigar.

Grandpa # 2 smoking a cigar.

Man, I love being graduated. Maybe too much.

Keeping busy....

I LOVE tandem bikes.

I never thought that there would be a time in my life when I had no job and no school. I got a bit of anxiety thinking about it because I love to be busy. With all this new found time, I have been able to be quite productive (in a different sort of way). I went on a four hour hike, rented a tandem and rode it all over provo, broke the tandem, fixed the tandem, went to a meeting, a bbq, helped plant a flower bed on center, mowed a lawn, painted four doors, went to a baseball game, did some fundraising, thought about learning mandarin, went biking some more, watched a little bit of planet earth, water (a movie), bride wars, and october sky, went to jdawgs with megan, talked to megan a little more, went to a wedding reception, went to a ward opening social, played ultimate frisbee, took lots of walks, cleaned the apt's fridge and freezer, went running, went to the doctors, did a dance workout, etc. All in five days.

I kind of like having very little responsibility. It makes me be more creative because I do not want to spend all of my time sitting in front of the tv. I'm sure there will be a few days until I leave where I want to go crazy, but hopefully it is a limited amount.
